Objectives

Ever since I started working as a web designer and later as a UX/UI designer and front-end developer, I have been committed to making websites and applications accessible to people with and without disabilities.

Personally, I am a big believer in continuous learning and training. I am always striving to improve my technical skills, acquire new knowledge and pass this on to my team members.

A11y Tokyo Meetup

April 2024 to March, Tokyo

MC and part of the organisation team

I was the English speaking MC for the a11y Tokyo meetup.

The meetup happens every month. Odd months have a guest speaker who will give a main presentation, even months will see a lighting talk and in-person networking event.

It was my job to introduce guests, the event and hype up the crowd. The event is generally bi-lingual, English and Japanese.

As a parting gift I developed a soundboard, which can be used to send off guests, who stay too long.
